1. What sizes are available?
70cm, 90cm, 100cm, 120cm.
2. What space is required either side of the cooker when fitting?
5mm overall.
3. What is the ideal position to terminate the gas supply behind the cooker?
430mm from left hand side x 750mm above finished floor level, viewed from the front.Minimum of 660mm and maximum of 750mm.
5. What else is required to fit the hood?
A ducting kit if ducting to the outside or charcoal filters if to be used in recycling mode. These filters should be replaced every 6 months.
6. Is stainless steel difficult to keep clean?
No. Hot water and washing up detergent applied with a soft cloth will remove most soiling and polish dry to avoid streaking. An E-cloth is ideal, available from most hardware or department stores. Stubborn marks or periodic additional cleaning with a stainless steel cleaner is advisable. Why not order our cleaning kit available in our Stanley Centres.
7. We do not have 'natural gas'!
All Waterford cookers are convertible to LPG (liquid petroleum gas). A 47kg cylinder will last most customers about one year. We also manufacture all electric cookers.
8. Are ceramics hobs as responsive as gas hobs?
The 'Series 7' ribbon elements are very fast and have one of the fastest boil times of any ceramic element in the world. They will never be as responsive as a gas hob but pretty close! Available in 90cm and 100cm options.
9. How long is the manufacturers warranty?
All Waterford range cookers are guaranteed for TWO years. This relates to domestic installations only and not to commercial premises.
