Just cooking has recently finished refurbishing its purpose built cookery school replete with Brandon cast iron cooker and range of built-in and freestanding Waterford Appliances. Opening its doors on Tuesday 20th October Mark Does says “We are really excited about being able to start cooking in our new Brandon. It will be great to finally get to experiment with different cooking methods, & find the true potential of cooking in a range cooker."
Mark & Bernie Doe
 Mark & Bernie started their cookery in 2006 in Firies, Killarney to share their skills with would-be-cooks . Mark has worked for over 20 years in some of Europe's finest hotels and restaurants including The Ritz hotel, London, The Merrion hotel, Dublin and The Four Seasons hotel, London. Mark's last post, before starting Just Cooking, was as the opening chef at The Fifth Season restaurant in Killarney, Co. Kerry. He has also won many awards for his cooking, including the overall winner of the Moreau Chablis fish dish of the year award 2004.
Bernie has over 20 years experience in catering management and training and has worked on the The Queen Elizabeth 2, Ajays in Melbourne, Australia, The City University business school in London and Seasons Catering at The Guinness Store House in Dublin. They run all kinds of cookery courses and work as food consultants too.
Just Cooking Cookery School
 The Just Cooking Cookery Courses are a fun and entertaining way of spending an evening or a full day while gaining valuable and practical knowledge. People can learn new recipes and gain a sound knowledge of food, basic cooking techniques and some ‘tricks of the trade’.
The Just Cooking School will 'add a little flavour' to your life with creative Cookery Classes that can teach you how to be the perfect "Domestic God or Goddess".
Following the class you can enjoy the food, which always tastes better when you've put the effort in! More importantly you'll take away the "know how" to recreate those dishes again. All classes are limited to 8 people and take place in the comfortable, purpose built Just Cooking kitchen.
